Giffington is a free conversion tool. No account or signup is required.

What we collect

• Uploaded files — processed in memory and temporary storage, then deleted. Input files are not kept after conversion.
• Converted GIFs — stored briefly in Google Cloud Storage so you can download them, then deleted (immediately after download, or within 48 hours).
• Technical logs — IP address, browser type, file size, and conversion timestamps for abuse prevention and troubleshooting.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not use uploads for advertising or AI training.
• We do not require personal information to use the tool.

Third-party services

Converted files are stored temporarily on Google Cloud Storage. Hosting runs on Render. These providers process data on our behalf to operate the service.

Retention

Uploads are deleted after conversion. Output GIFs are deleted after you download them, or automatically within 48 hours if unused.
